Dental Implants: Case 7
Description
After replacing this patient's old veneers in 2017 Dr Nordhus recommended she continued with her maintenance visits in our office. She unfortunately had an upper front tooth that had some reinfection that could not be resolved. The tooth was removed and an implant was placed by a periodontist that Dr Nordhus works very closely with. Dr Nordhus places a lot of implants however in this case he felt that the implant placement and tissue management needed to be done by a specialist. This patient is very thankful she had the tooth replace with an implant where she does not have something that comes in and out or her mouth, that does not rely on other teeth to hold it in, and it feels close to a natural tooth.
